- Can I convert a video recorded on an iPhone?
- Yes. iPhone videos are MOV files with AAC sound. Choose the video, and the tool takes only the sound.
- The video is very large — will it work?
- Usually yes: the tool reads the file piece by piece and decodes only the sound, so the size of the picture matters little. On iPhones and iPads with systems older than iOS 26 the sound is decoded all at once, which limits recordings to roughly half an hour.
- Which kinds of sound in MOV are supported?
- AAC (iPhone and most cameras) and uncompressed PCM (many professional cameras). Apple Lossless (ALAC) sound isn’t readable in every browser; if yours can’t read it, the tool tells you so.
