Questions

Is the picture kept?
No — only the sound. The picture is skipped, and the video isn’t copied anywhere.
Why WAV instead of MP3?
WAV isn’t compressed again, so nothing more is lost on the way — useful for editing, mixing or programs that accept only WAV. If you only want to listen to or send the sound, an MP3 is much smaller.
How big will the WAV be?
About 10 MB per minute of stereo sound at 44.1 kHz. The tool makes WAV files up to 1 GB — about an hour and a half of stereo.
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
Your file never leaves your device. It is converted right here, in your browser — nothing is uploaded.
