Split an audio file into parts
Cut a long recording into shorter files — every few minutes, or exactly where you choose. Each part is saved as MP3 or WAV, and all of them also come in one ZIP file.
Your file never leaves your device. It is converted right here, in your browser — nothing is uploaded.

Questions
- Is anything lost where the recording is cut?
- No. Each part ends exactly where the next one begins, so together the parts make up the whole recording.
- How many parts can I make?
- Up to 100 parts from one recording. The last part takes whatever is left, so it can be shorter than the others.
- What files do I get?
- One MP3 or WAV file per part, named like interview-part-01.mp3, and one ZIP file with all the parts.
